Google Photovine App is a photo-sharing application for iOS that puts an emphasis photo-centric moments or ideas that connect you with other users."Plant a photo, watch it grow" is its tagline , which means the service groups images together using common photo-driven themes. These groupings, called vines, let you connect with strangers while sharing photos of everyday items that you wouldn't otherwise have any interest in photographing.
Google explains that "Photovine is a fun way to learn more about your friends, meet new people, and share your world like never before. It all starts with what we call a photovine: a group of photos around a single, shared caption. Start a new vine with a photo and caption of your own or add your photo/take on someone else's vine."
In Google Photovine App, you browse vines shared collections of photos connected by a single caption. In the promotional video on Photovine’s website, one woman starts a “Warm and Fuzzy” vine with a snapshot of her puppy; a picnicking couple’s self-portrait and a hirsute sunbather’s chest soon join the mix.
You can connect to friends from Facebook, Twitter, and your iPhone contacts. You can browse fresh or popular vines, and also scroll through an activity feed with all your friends’ photos. When you take photos, you can optionally add captions and share the photos via Facebook, Twitter, or email.
